Brecon
Beacons
From
its remote wilderness, contrasting with sheltered ancient woodlands,
reservoirs, breathtaking waterfalls, caves and windswept uplands,
there's something for everyone in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Being active
outdoors is a key part of any visit, from climbing South Wales'
highest peak Pen-Y-Fan to sailing or canoeing at Langorse Lake or
Fishing on the River Usk.
But
there are plenty of other things to do from festivals to markets
and if it rains why not visit Dan-yr-Ogof
Showcaves or Big
Pit

Brecon
Brecon
is an historic market town at the heart of the Brecon Beacons and
a great base for exploring the wild Welsh Hills of South Wales.
The
town has an active arts and music scene with arts and crafts galleries
and shops, cinema
and theatre.
Brecon
is part of the Welsh food rennaissance and has a monthly farmers
market and annual food festival
in October.
Whilst
you are in town visit our local microbrewery, The
Brecknockshire Brewery and try their beers in the local
pubs.
